Porsche Reports January U.S. Sales

                        January Sales Up by 10 Percent

    ATLANTA, Feb. 3 -- Porsche Cars North America, importer and
distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced sales
and stock figures for the month of January, 2000.  Retail sales for the month
totaled 1,916 cars, an increase of 10 percent over January, 1999.
