Newgen Results Corporation (NASDAQ/NM: NWGN), a leading provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology for the service sector of the U.S. retail automotive industry, today announced the election of Bob Dorf to its Board of Directors.
Dorf is a co-founder of Peppers and Rogers Group, and co-author of The One to One Fieldbook: The Complete Toolkit for Implementing 1to1 Marketing Program. Dorf brings the total number of Board members to eleven.
Dorf, age 50, is considered a leading CRM and one to one strategist focused on the implementation of 1to1 tactics at the operational level. Gerald L. Benowitz, chairman, president and CEO of Newgen, said, "We are honored to be associated with a voice of authority in the eCRM industry. Bob's addition greatly enhances our acumen in the CRM business. One of our strategic objectives is to expand our offering of e-CRM services such as maintenance reminders and electronic reservations systems, and Bob will be instrumental as we move forward with this initiative."
Benowitz continued, "Newgen recently began an association with ADP and IBM known as myautogarage.com, which is a Web-based service that will enable easier and faster maintenance and management of vehicles, and Newgen is providing the crucial eCRM technology. Further, with our carabunga.com Web site, we are developing unique and revolutionary one-to-one marketing services in order to maximize repeat vehicle sales and parts and service revenues for auto dealerships. Bob's knowledge and experience in this area will assist Newgen in these activities."
Commenting on his election, Dorf stated, "I look forward to contributing to Newgen's existing relationships with IBM and ADP through myautogarage.com, and to working with the company to expand its product offerings on the caragbunga.com Web site. Newgen is delivering real-time, closed-loop CRM for thousands of aggressive automotive retailers. I look forward to helping them enhance that CRM delivery in both the online and offline world."
