Mexico's President Zedillo Dedicates New DaimlerChrysler Mexico Headquarters
    MEXICO CITY, Feb. 2 -- Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo
dedicated DaimlerChrysler's new Mexico headquarters today.
    Theodore R. Cunningham, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and
Marketing for DaimlerChrysler Corporation and Miles G. Bryant III, President
of DaimlerChrysler Mexico Holding were joined by government officials, company
executives and employees to inaugurate the new facility.
    The new US $70 million DaimlerChrysler Mexico headquarters is comprised of
25 floors, including mezzanine and parking, and is considered an intelligent
building due to its modern installations and safety systems.  It will serve as
headquarters for several DaimlerChrysler companies that have representation in
Mexico, including debis, DaimlerChrysler de Mexico (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and
Mercedes-Benz vehicles), Adtranz, DaimlerChrysler Aerospace and MTU.
