Lear Corporation Appoints Osvaldo (Dino) de Falco President - Mexican Operations    
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 2 -- Lear Corporation
today announced the appointment of Osvaldo (Dino) de Falco to President -
Mexican Operations reporting to Douglas D. DelGrosso, President - North
American Operations.

    As President - Mexican Operations, de Falco is responsible for all of
Lear's business activity in Mexico.
    de Falco joins Lear from Delphi Automotive Systems Corporation where he
most recently worked as Director - Delphi-Saginaw Europe for the company's
European region based in Paris, France.  During his 22 years with Delphi
Automotive, he also served as Managing Director for the company's Mexican
Operations.  He also has a teaching background in operations research.
    de Falco earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Naples
University in Naples, Italy.
    de Falco and his wife, Daniela, have two daughters and reside in El Paso,
Texas.
