AMA: Pro Honda Oils Marks 10-year Relationship with AMA 600 Supersport Racing

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- AMA Pro Racing has announced that its long-standing relationship with Pro Honda Oils will continue into 2000 and beyond, through a new multi-year agreement that will see the lubricant brand continue as title sponsor of the AMA 600 SuperSport Series."In 2000, American Honda's Pro Honda Oil brand enters its 10th year as title sponsor of the Pro Honda Oils 600 SuperSport Series. During that time we have seen tremendous growth in customer recognition and support of our products," said Rick Mitchell, Assistant Manager of Motorcycle Parts & Accessories Marketing at American Honda Motor Company. "Our long term association with AMA Pro Racing and the 600 SuperSport Series continues to enhance our position in the market."
AMA Pro Racing's 600 SuperSport Series runs in conjunction with the highly popular AMA Chevy Trucks U.S. Superbike Championships. Events are held at premier road courses, and attract top manufacturer teams and rider talent from both North America and overseas. Riders who participate in the Pro Honda Oils bonus program are eligible for $15,000 in year-end awards.
The Pro Honda Oils brand is one of the leading motorcycle-specific oils in the industry. During the past 20 years, Pro Honda Oils have been a part of over 56 national motorcycle racing championships.
