American Axle & Manufacturing Elects New Board Member: John P. ReillyDETROIT, Feb. 2 -- American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. today announced the election of a new member to its board of directors: John (Jack) P. Reilly, partner with Reilly, Erwin & Company, L.L.C. Reilly has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry. Since 1997, he has co-led the firm of Reilly, Erwin & Company, L.L.C., which works in partnership with Bessemer Holdings L.P. to make acquisitions and equity investments. He has served as senior officer with a number of automotive suppliers including Stant Corporation, Scott Technologies, Inc., Brunswick Corporation, and Tenneco Automotive. Earlier in his career, he played a key role in the restructuring of International Harvester (now Navistar, Inc.). Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility with Chrysler. Reilly is the recipient of numerous industry honors including the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association's Triangle Award and the Automotive Hall of Fame's Distinguished Service Citation. He is also on the boards of directors of Scott Technologies, Inc. and Breed Technologies, Inc. "We welcome Mr. Reilly to our board and look forward to his contributions," said Richard E.
