Delphi Receives Partner Status Award From John DeereKOKOMO, Ind., Feb. 2 -- Delphi Automotive Systems was recently honored for achieving "Partner Status" in John Deere's 1999 Achieving Excellence/JD CROP Program. This is the highest achievable level for Deere & Company's quality award program. The prestigious 1999 partner status was presented to Delphi Delco Electronics Systems for supplying heavy-duty audio receivers, pressure sensors and speakers. The achievement was based on quality, delivery, technical support and cost management. Delphi Delco Electronics Systems has been supplying audio receivers to John Deere since 1989 for tractors produced at Deere's Waterloo Works. "This recognition is a clear signal from John Deere that quality leads to customer satisfaction and those are the ingredients that allow Delphi to maintain its role as a significant employer in the area," said Charles R.
