Affiliated Resources Corporation Announces New President

    HOUSTON--Feb. 2, 2000--Affiliated Resources Corporation (OTCBB:ARCX) announces the appointment of Mr. Michael R. Bradle as president and chief operating officer. Mr. Bradle is a seasoned management executive with experience in management consulting, strategic planning, and corporate operations. He is also active in the energy business and currently is involved in several oil and gas Limited Partnerships. Mr. Peter C. Vanucci, chairman and CEO, stated, "We welcome Mr. Bradle as a key member of our management team. He brings specific expertise which will be instrumental to the company's strategic growth plan." Mr. Bradle is a graduate of Texas A&M University and resides in Lampasas, Texas.
    Affiliated Resources Corporation is engaged, through its Chemway division, in the blending, packaging and distribution of automotive aftermarket fluids and is currently pursuing related acquisitions.
