Infiniti Reports Sales Increase of 66.4 Percent
- Performance Marks Best January in Division History -
CARSON, Calif., Feb. 1 -- Marking its best January ever,
Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA), reported
total January sales of 6,522 units, an increase of 66.4 percent over the
previous year.
As the volume sales leader, the all-new Infiniti I30 reported a
92.7 percent increase versus the same period last year, with sales of
2,740 units in January. Other notable achievements for the division include:
-- The popular QX4 luxury sport utility vehicle continued with strong
sales in January with 2,368 units sold, an increase of 94.9 percent.
-- The G20 sedan posted sales of 1,053 units in January, an 11.0 percent
increase versus last year.
-- Infiniti's flagship Q45 performance sedan posted sales of 361 units for
the month of January, an increase of 9.1 percent versus last year.
Nissan North America, Inc. combined sales for January, including Nissan
and Infiniti divisions, totaled 51,967 units, a 26.7 percent increase over
last year.

Infiniti QX4 luxury Sport Utility Vehicle, G20 sports sedan, I30 luxury sedan,
