1 February 2000

BigWigAuctions.com Auctions Rare Vector M12 On-Line; High-Performance Car is Last of Only 30 Produced and was Used for Sound and Pictures in Sony PlayStation2 Games

    OLYMPIA, Wash.--Feb. 1, 2000--A Vector M12, one of the rarest high-performance, American-made automobiles ever built, is being auctioned on-line at BigWigAuctions.com (www.bigwigauctions.com).
The 1996 Vector M12 listed on the BigWigAuctions.com site is the last factory-built Vector and is one of only 30 Vectors ever produced.
Originally conceived by automobile engineer Jerry Wiegert, the Vector was built to challenge the finest European-made sports cars in speed, performance and design. Engineered by the designers of the McLaren, the fastest street-legal car ever produced, the Vector M12 series was introduced in 1996 with a 515-horsepower Lambourghini Diablo engine that propels the car from 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph. Sony utilized the sleek styling and powerful engine sounds of the Vector M12 being auctioned to provide sound and pictures for PlayStation2 games.
The Vector M12 on the site has 54 factory test miles and is a metallic amethyst with black leather interior.
"The Vector M12 is truly a rare find, especially on the Internet," said Scott Lewis, CEO of BigWig.com, Inc. "BigWigAuctions.com actively seeks to make unique, collectable, high-end items available to Internet users everywhere including cars such as the Vector."
Bidding for the Vector M12 begins on concludes February 8. Anyone with Internet access can visit BigWigAuctions.com's site and bid on any items up for auction once they register.
