Systems Modeling Appoints New VP of Sales

    PITTSBURGH--Feb. 1, 2000--Systems Modeling Corporation announced the appointment of Gary Napotnik to the position of Vice President, Sales. Napotnik joined Systems Modeling on January 3, 2000.
    Napotnik will be responsible for managing direct sales activities in the United States for Systems Modeling's Arena(R) simulation software product suite and Tempo(R) production scheduling software. Under his direction, the Systems Modeling sales force will target the plastics, foods, chemicals, and discrete manufacturing markets.
    Prior to joining Systems Modeling, Napotnik was Vice President of Sales at Cerebellum Software, where he built a sales infrastructure consisting of a complete telemarketing, telesales, and direct sales force covering the United States. Napotnik was also Executive Vice President of Sales at Vircom Technologies Group and District Manager for Catapult Software Training Centers (an IBM company). He has also held a variety of managerial and engineering positions. Napotnik holds a BS in Business Administration from Fairmont State College, Fairmont, West Virginia.
