Oshkosh Truck Names Bohn Chairman

    OSHKOSH, Wis.--Feb. 1, 2000--Oshkosh Truck Corporation (NASDAQ-OTRKB) today announced that Robert G. Bohn has been named chairman of the board, succeeding Daniel T. Carroll. Carroll will remain a member of the Oshkosh board of directors.
    Mr. Bohn joined Oshkosh Truck in 1992. He was appointed president and COO in 1995, and chief executive officer in October 1997. Since that time, Bohn has led the successful diversification and growth of the company's business from largely a defense contractor to a company where commercial markets account for over 80% of revenues. Bohn has a track record of accelerating performance. Under his leadership, Oshkosh has increased annual sales from $413 million to almost $1.2 billion.
