Budget Group Names Davis as VP, Financial Planning & Analysis
   LISLE, Ill., Jan. 31 -- Budget Group, Inc. , which
owns Budget Rent a Car Corporation and Ryder TRS, today announced the
appointment of Dave Davis, 33, as its vice president, Financial Planning and
Analysis.  He will be responsible for overseeing all financial planning,
analysis and reporting as well as capital expenditure planning for Budget
Group and its subsidiaries.
    Davis most recently served as director, Finance for Delta Airline's
$4 billion customer service division, which encompassed all airport
operations, in-flight service and cargo handling.  Prior to joining Delta, he
spent six years at Northwest Airlines where he held the positions of director,
Finance for the company's aircraft operations division and director, Financial
Analysis, where his responsibilities included capital budgeting, operational
planning and financial reporting.  Davis began his career at Rockwell
International as a flight planning engineer.  He also served as a marketing
engineer for BF Goodrich Aerospace, Inc.
    Davis earned an MBA degree in Finance and a BS degree in Aerospace
Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
