AMA: LaRocco takes 4th at Sports Supercross in Phoenix

Honda support rider Mike LaRocco, after nearly crashing in turn one of the main
event, fought his way from 19th through the pack to claim 4th overall at Round 4
of the AMA/EA Sports 250cc Supercross Series at Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix on
Saturday, January 29.  Honda Red Riders Sebastien Tortelli and Kevin Windham
finished seventh and eighth respectively. Defending World Supercross Champion
David Vuillemin of France enjoyed a better night than LaRocco and passed current
U.S Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath on lap 18 of the 20-lap final for his
second consecutive win, this one in front of a crowd of 47,263.

In the 125 action, Team FMF/Honda rider Casey Lytle took the lead a few laps
from the end for his first win of the season.

Going into Round 5 at the Houston Astrodome, Houston on Saturday, February 5
McGrath leads the series, followed closely by Vuillemin and LaRocco.
