Lear Corp Appoints Wm. McLaughlin VP-Taxes

SOUTHFIELD, Mich./ -- Lear Corporation announced on Friday the appointment of William P. McLaughlin to Vice President-Taxes. In his new position, McLaughlin is responsible for managing all corporate tax compliance and planning for Lear worldwide. McLaughlin joined Lear in 1993 as Senior International Tax Accountant, and later was appointed European Tax Manager at Lear's international headquarters in Germany. He most recently served as Director of Taxes. Prior to joining Lear, he spent eight years with the Big Five accounting firms, specializing in corporate domestic and international tax matters. McLaughlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., (USA). He is a certified public accountant. McLaughlin and his wife, Kathy, reside in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, (USA).
