TecSyn Announces Today That It Enters an Agreement

    ST.CATHERINES, Ontario--Jan. 28, 2000-- (TSE:TSN.)

    TecSyn announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of its Poli-Twine Group to a private capital firm headquartered in New York for cash. It is anticipated that the transaction will be completed in the first calendar quarter of 2000. The Poli-Twine Group will become an autonomous manufacturing company operated by current management.
