SDRC and MascoTech Engage in Partnership for Competitive Excellence; MascoTech Standardizes On SDRC's Software Products and Services

    CINCINNATI--Jan. 26, 2000--SDRC , a leading global supplier of Internet-enabled collaborative product development solutions, today announced that MascoTech, Inc. is engaging with SDRC in a partnership for competitive excellence. As part of this partnership program, MascoTech has placed a major order with SDRC and is standardizing on Metaphase Enterprise and I-DEAS software products and SDRC ExperTeam(SM) services.
    A supplier to the major OEMs in the automotive industry, MascoTech is a diversified industrial products company with world-leading metal forming process capabilities. MascoTech Forming Technologies will deploy SDRC's products and services in a Phase 1 implementation in their Royal Oak and Farmington Hills, Michigan locations. Additional deployment is anticipated in subsequent Phase 2 programs.
