AmeraPARTS International today announced it has hired Randy L. Holt, a 20-year veteran of the automobile property and casualty insurance industry with a strong background in crash repair/damage claims management and information systems development, to serve as its director of parts operations for the companies growing Southeast region.

Holt, an automotive insurance claims executive, held positions of increasing responsibility at Nationwide Insurance, most recently serving as director of field claims for the entire Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. region.
In his previous position, Holt developed IT systems in conjunction with automotive industry vendors to implement electronic commerce solutions for automotive parts availability, delivery and billing. From 1994 through 2000, he has had senior management responsibility as director of claims and superintendent of claims processing in the Columbus, Ohio, office of Nationwide; regional systems manager in Nationwide's Annapolis office; and has held several technical managerial positions in Nationwide's Columbus office.
