United Recyclers Group Announces Focus in 2000 on Independent Recyclers
DENVER, Jan. 25 -- URG, a partnership of over 350 auto
recyclers throughout the U.S. and Canada, dedicated to organizational growth
through joint programs with their partners, have announced that their focus
for 2000 will be on the independent recyclers in North America.
The partners of United Recyclers Group, LLC have built a successful,
independent program with their co-op buying, group advertising, shared
training, and development of the Pinnacle(TM) Advanced Inventory Management
System. The group will strengthen these efforts in 2000 with the Internet and
introduction of e-commerce to stay ahead of the recent influx of corporate
consolidators. These joint enterprises allow URG to provide the consumer as
well as the automotive repair industry, with the highest quality parts and
unparalleled service.
There have been many changes in the automotive recycling industry. One of
the biggest changes has been the entry into the market of large public
consolidators. URG has developed the structure and framework for Independent
Recyclers to compete in the new consolidated environment. The Partners of
United Recyclers Group, LLC are well positioned to compete with these new
factors, utilizing marketing and other programs to help them maintain a
competitive edge in the industry. Additionally, URG provides unprecedented
warranties, internationally recognized premium parts brand image, instant
access to parts across North America, and a keen focus on customer
satisfaction through their accreditation process. It is the size, strength,
and sophistication of this highly developed partnership that will propel these
Independent Recyclers into the 21st century.
URG's Business Manager, Sharon Kellum says, "As we approach the new year
and look at 1999 in review, there are many changes that have taken place in
our industry. It is these changes that have guided us towards focusing on
Independent Recyclers in the industry." United Recyclers Group, LLC has been
known in the industry as a leader in many areas. The formation and leadership
of this partnership has accomplished many changes throughout the industry.
The strength of this group will help develop competitive strategies for
Independent Recyclers.
United Recyclers Group, LLC is one of the largest and most developed
"independent consolidations" in the industry. The URG Partners have already
accomplished many of the programs that the corporate consolidators are working
on. In 2000 URG will continue to capitalize on their "strength in numbers"
philosophy and move forward with other programs for the Independent Recyclers.
