New Venture Gear Announces World Headquarters Relocation
TROY, Mich., Jan. 25 -- New Venture Gear (NVG) is pleased to
announce the location of its planned New World Headquarters and Technology
Center. NVG conducted an exhaustive study in early 1999 to relocate within a
preferred designated area, near the I-75 corridor presently referred to as
Automation Alley, that would best serve NVG's needs.
The NVG New World Headquarters and Technology Center will be located at
I-75 and M-59, in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The site is under the management of
the Burton-Katzman Development Group. This high visibility site is a perfect
match for NVG's customers, suppliers and existing employee base. The new
headquarters will include approximately 95,000 square feet with additional
space set aside specifically for future growth. State-of-the-art technology
and engineering facilities have been incorporated into NVG's architectural
plan. NVG is expecting to relocate sometime in the 2001 calendar year.
New Venture Gear is the world's leading designer and manufacturer of
4-wheel drive transfer cases. The company is a world leader in the production
of manual transmissions, manual transaxles and other traction control and
driveline components and systems. NVG has manufacturing sites in East
Syracuse, New York, Muncie, Indiana, and is completing a third manufacturing
facility in Roitzsch, Germany. The company is currently headquartered in
Troy, Michigan, and develops products at its engineering centers in Troy,
Michigan, East Syracuse, New York, and Kenilworth, England. Additionally, NVG
maintains sales offices in England and Germany.
