Moody's Confirms Credit Rating for Collins & Aikman - Cites Improved Operating Performance, Interest Coverage and Cash Flow LeverageTROY, Mich., Jan. 25 -- Collins & Aikman Corporation today announced that Moody's Investor Services (Moody's) has confirmed the Company's corporate credit rating and has taken Collins & Aikman off its credit review listing. Collins & Aikman had previously been placed under credit review by Moody's in June, 1999. In making the announcement, Moody's noted, "The confirmation of the ratings reflects the steady improvement in Collins & Aikman's operating performance during 1999 which has led to better debt protection. In addition, the company continues to maintain its dominant U.S. market shares in its primary product lines."
