Terion FleetView(TM) Trailer Monitoring Equipment Launched January 15
MELBOURNE, Fla., Jan. 25 -- Terion announces commercial
availability of its FleetView(TM) trailer monitoring system. FleetView
enables enhanced asset management through continuous visibility of location
and status. Sophisticated trailer event detection provides trailer
utilization data, changes in trailer availability status, as well as the
identification of trailer and cargo events.
FleetView combines cellular communications technology for comprehensive
coverage, Internet data access for ease of operation, with innovative hardware
design. FleetView's unique approach integrates the GPS and cellular antennae
into a standard trailer marker light, providing covert installation. The
system design also features over-the-air software downloads for future
upgrades and enhancements, sophisticated power management using an integral
motion sensor, and the ability to transmit five trailer events per message.
Terion's Tview(TM) software works in a familiar browser environment on
standard PC hardware.
"We're excited about the launch of this new product," said Ed Mushill,
Product Manager of FleetView. "It provides a simple and affordable trailer
monitoring and tracking solution with innovative features that address the
needs of the industry."
The addition of FleetView to the Terion team expands the company's
technological base to include core cellular expertise and furthers Terion's
strategy to become a total mobile-information solutions provider for the
transportation industry.
