Hank Aaron BMW Hits Home Run in Union City
ATLANTA, Jan. 24 -- Hank Aaron, one of the most multi-
talented baseball players in the history of the game, can add "President" to
his string of titles. The all-time home run king is opening Hank Aaron BMW in
Union City, Georgia. The dealership's defining differences include the
location, Hank Aaron "Signature Service" and "Signature Series."
Hank Aaron BMW is the first new BMW franchise to open in seven years, the
first ever in south Atlanta. Although unprecedented, it is a very savvy
business move. Atlanta has more high-line vehicle sales per capita than any
other city in the country. Atlanta's north side and most other markets are
saturated with high-end dealerships. Union City is located just outside the
Fayette County border, which has the highest per-capita income of any county
in the metro-Atlanta area. Yet with the exception of Carriage House Mercedes

Aaron expects the dealership to enjoy immediate success with both sales

other dealer in the city offers: Hank Aaron BMW's "Signature Airport Service."
Hank Aaron BMW leased six parking spaces at the Park & Ticket. Customers can
leave their vehicles in the designated spaces, and while the customer is out
of town on business or pleasure, the dealership will pick up the car, service
it, and return it to the airport. This unique service will instill loyalty
from a vehicle service standpoint.
The first 44 cars sold, the same number on Hank Aaron's baseball jersey,
will literally have the Hank Aaron signature. The "Signature Series" will be
numbered BMWs with Hank Aaron's signature on a plate in the glove box, merging
the high-performance driving machine with the high-performance sports legend.
Even though Hank Aaron BMW is new, it is opening with a staff of seasoned
professionals. Sidney Barron, the General Manager, has been with BMW for
nearly 10 years. Other examples include a Parts Manager with 29 years of BMW
experience, a Service Director with 14 years of BMW experience, a complete
support staff with BMW experience and BMW certified technicians. Hank Aaron

When asked about his role at the dealership, Aaron makes it clear that he
will be more than a name on the marquis. Aaron plans to work with Sidney
Barron in the day-to-day activities at the dealership. The humble sports
