Automotive Retailers Win with e-Business Solutions from ADP
New Online Solutions Offer Retailers Unequalled Opportunities, for Success

    ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 22 -- NADA '00 -- ADP Dealer Services
is helping automotive retailers take the lead in the
Internet-driven marketplace.
    "With new online collaborative communication tools that integrate
retailers, consumers, manufacturers, state motor vehicle departments,
e-finance lenders and other service providers, ADP is giving retailers new
choices for attracting and retaining loyal customers," said ADP Dealer
Services President Mike Martone.
    Building upon its highly successful e-commerce track record, ADP is
announcing several new e-Business initiatives at NADA 2000, including a
business-to-business relationship hub, a 2 to 1 e-CRM platform Internet
delivery of its dealer management systems and ISP, VPN, telecommunications and
networking solutions.
    "myautogarage.com is the business-consumer connection that will
revolutionize the vehicle ownership experience for dealers, manufacturers and
their customers," Martone said.
    This personalized service, integrated with the retailer's dealer
management system, lets consumers schedule service processes, obtain service
pricing online, and opt-in to receive manufacture and dealer information.
    Powered by ADP and IBM, and incorporating e-CRM technology from Newgen
Results Corp., myautogarage.com is already gaining momentum as retailers and
manufacturers rush to sign up to deliver its conveniences to their consumers.
    ADP is also launching DealerSuite.com, a business-to-business retail
community center on the Internet.  DealerSuite.com lets users establish a
unique automotive retailing community, connecting to ADP, Motivation Online,
Visto.com, BBCN.com and other business service providers.  While
DealerSuite.com can be used by anyone in the automotive retail industry, ADP
customers also have online access to product reference materials, tutorials
and technical support.
    ADP is also announcing Application Service Provider (ASP) delivery of its
industry leading dealer management systems.
    "The online delivery of our Elite(TM) and Alliance(TM) dealer management
systems will build on our success in delivering single-server solutions to
AutoNation, Lithia Motors, Mercedes-Benz Canada and other organizations,"
Martone said.
    These online dealer management systems will give retailers the security
and convenience of a managed data center, and protect their technology
investment.
    e-Business initiatives are not new to ADP.  Its AutoTrader.com partnership
with Manheim Auctions connects consumers with more than 1.5 million used car
inventory listings over the Web.  Another service, CVR, currently provides
automated tag and title registration, linking dealers to state motor vehicle
departments across the country.  ADP also connects retailers to key business
services through National Parts Locator, Credit Check and Credit Connection,
an e-financing solution.
    ADP's Network Solutions group has already provided high-speed local, wide
area, and Internet network connections to more than 50,000 automotive
dealership users, and will begin offering expanded telecommunications and
networking services in partnership with USWest, a leading national telecom
provider.
