Top Controls Distributors Honored at Johnson Controls Business ConferenceMILWAUKEE, Jan. 20 -- Johnson Controls, Inc. recently recognized its top-performing distributors of 1999 at its Customer Business Conference held in Tucson, Ariz. The Circle Select Premier Distributor of the Year Award for outstanding incremental growth was awarded to F.W. WEBB Co., Merrimack, N.H. F.W. WEBB achieved this top award by demonstrating outstanding participation in all of the program category requirements. Controlco Automation Distributors of Concord, Calif., received both the 1999 Premier Distributor of the Year and National Champion Eagle Awards. The Premier Distributor of the Year Award is presented for the greatest increase in incremental shipments over the previous year. The National Champion Eagle honor is awarded to the Network Systems Distributor realizing the largest volume of head-end system sales, software and color graphics. Award winners are required to complete key program requirements, including sales goals, training, marketing activities and electronic commerce initiatives. In addition, Eagle Awards were presented to the top five Network Systems Distributors in the West, Central and East regions. Winners in the Western region were: Complete Controls, Houston; Mortemp Inc., Seattle; Control Consultants, St. Louis; Refrigeration Supply Distributors, Lake Forest, Calif. and Johnson Supply, Houston. Eagle Award winners for the Central region were: Allied Supply, Dayton, Ohio; Cochrane Supply & Engineering Madison Heights, Mich.; G&O Thermal Supply, Chicago; R.J. Meyer, Sewickley, Pa. and Johnstone Supply, Cleveland. East region winners were: J-Mar Control Technologies, Stony Brook, N.Y.; Industrial Controls Distributors, Wanamassa, N.J.; F.W. WEBB, Woburn, Mass; Aireco Supply Co., Savage, Md. and Energy Equipment & Control, Allentown, Pa. The Customer Business Conference is a forum for Johnson Controls Premier, Select Circle Premier and National Account distributors to discuss current and future industry trends, exchange ideas and best practices and absorb the insights of national business consultants. The agenda is designed and selected by the attendees and addresses relevant distributor issues, including customer-oriented sessions, workshops, product showcase and awards.
