Market Scan, Creators of Lease Prophet, Signs Three-Year Pact with Mario Andretti; Racing Legend to Serve as Celebrity Spokesperson
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--Jan. 20, 2000--Market Scan(R) (www.marketscan.com), developers of Lease Prophet(R) (the automotive industry's most comprehensive, powerful leasing technology), has signed Mario Andretti to a three-year personal appearance contract.The racing legend will serve as the company's celebrity spokesperson at trade shows, seminars, dealer meetings and manufacturer special events. Andretti recently appeared in a corporate video for Market Scan that is being unveiled at the National Association of Automotive Dealers Convention (NADA) in Orlando, Fla., January 22 - 25. He will also be at the Market Scan booth (No. 749) to sign autographs and meet with dealers.

Andretti and his son, Michael, are co-owners of a Toyota dealership in Coraoplis, Penn. (in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area). Although they have other businesses together, automobile dealerships are where they both have great interest and expertise. Andrettis' Airport Toyota opened in June of 1996 and, according to Andretti, "...will not do without Lease Prophet or the new Retail Finance System."
