Construction Specialty PR Firm to Publish Association's Magazines

    COLUMBUS, Ohio--Jan. 19, 2000--TRIAD, Incorporated, a public relations practice entirely dedicated to servicing concerns relating to construction associations and businesses, has announced that it has been selected to act as publisher of two prestigious association magazines in Florida and Pennsylvania.
    TRIAD, which already publishes similar magazines in Ohio and Tennessee, was awarded service agreements by the Florida Transportation Builders Association (FTBA) and the Associated Pennsylvania Constructors to provide editorial, design, ad sales and management services to their associations.
    Both magazines will publish quarterly. The company will also assist the associations with an annual membership directory/buyers guide.
    Editorial focus for the publications will be issues vital to the interests of highway and transportation contractors such as public works funding, regulatory issues and association news.
    In addition to the four contractors associations that publish magazines, TRIAD serves a variety of alliances and coalitions which advance better roads and transportation issues in eight states, individual construction firms, consulting engineers, highway corridor advocacy groups and construction materials/equipment suppliers. Company projects have included efforts to secure infrastructure funding, membership development, awards programs, crisis management/training, regulatory battles, video, brochures, web site development and strategic consultation.
    The Ohio-based firm employs 15 including three former state department of transportation officials, construction pr specialists, artists, and writers--all with construction industry specific credentials.
