Strat@comm Adds to Auto Industry Expertise
    WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 -- Strat@comm Inc., a DC-based public
affairs firm with one of the top transportation practices in the nation,
announced today the addition of Brian Wallace as an Account Executive.
According to Strat@comm principal Ron DeFore, Wallace will support public
and media relations activities for Strat@comm's auto industry clients. "We
are pleased to have Brian involved in raising awareness about our clients'
products and services. His passion for automobiles, combined with knowledge
of the industry and the reporters who cover it, adds value to our already
strong automotive team."
Prior to joining Strat@comm in September, 1999, Wallace spent three years
with G-2 Communications, Inc., in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., supporting public
relations campaigns for DaimlerChrysler's Dodge and Mopar racing operations.
There, he gained familiarity with DaimlerChrysler's products and marketing
strategy. DaimlerChrysler is among Strat@comm's auto industry clients.
His responsibilities included the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NHRA
Winston Drag Racing Series, PPG Neon Charity Challenge and, most recently,
American Le Mans Series as public relations manager for the three-time World
Champion Dodge Viper team. Wallace also coordinated messages and media
relations for the Viper's international racing successes. In 1999, he
attended the world-famous 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race, where Vipers
finished first through sixth in class.
A native of York, Penn., Wallace is a 1996 graduate of The George
Washington University in Washington, DC.
