Nonnamaker Appointed Vice President National Accounts Sales and Marketing For Johnson Controls
    MILWAUKEE, Jan. 18 -- William R. Nonnamaker has been named
Vice President of National Accounts, Sales and Marketing for
Johnson Controls, Inc. .
    Nonnamaker is responsible for directing all sales and marketing efforts
for the company's aftermarket battery retail partners including, AutoZone,
Costco, Sears and Wal-Mart.  In his new role, Nonnamaker works closely with
the company's national sales force which serves as a category management team.
In addition, the team launches new products and works on continuous
improvements in technology, service, and quality.
    Prior to joining Johnson Controls in December 1999, Nonnamaker had
17 years of automotive aftermarket experience with Cooper Tire.  He held a
number of key positions, including National Account Sales Manager for the
Merchandising Group and National Account Sales Manager for the Retail
Division.
    Nonnamaker holds a B.S. from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from
Bowling Green State University.
