Oxford Automotive Appoints Mark Dye Director of Quality Improvement    
    TROY, Mich., Jan. 18 -- Oxford Automotive, Inc., a Tier 1 OEM
automotive supplier of manufactured engineered metal components, assemblies
and modules, recently appointed Mark Dye to the position of Director of
Quality Improvement.

    Dye is a graduate Summa Cum Laude from Baker College with a Bachelors
Degree in Industrial Management.  Dye previously worked for 16 years at
General Motors, most recently in the position of Supplier Quality Engineer at
GM Truck Group's Pontiac Headquarters.  In this position, Dye made significant
contributions to the quality and productivity improvements at several GM
suppliers.
    As Director of Quality Improvement, Dye will focus on developing,
implementing, and maintaining quality and process improvement programs at all
Oxford facilities.
    "My focus will be on the people and processes within Oxford," said Dye.
"We have a tremendously skilled workforce and state of the art technology.  My
job will be utilizing these resources to empower our people and create a
quality culture focused on being 'best in class'".
