SPX Service Solutions Releases the Next Generation of Air Conditioning Service Equipment    

    WARREN, Mich., Jan. 18 -- Service Solutions, a unit of SPX
Corporation, today announced the release of the ACR2000 to North American GM
dealers.  Branded Kent-Moore, the ACR2000 is the next generation in air
conditioning recovery recycling service equipment.  General Motors selected
the ACR2000 following an extensive two year development project that included
the nine top air conditioning equipment manufacturers in the US, Europe and
Australia.

    This technologically advanced unit, developed using the company's Robinair
refrigerant recovery and recycling expertise, provides technicians with a tool
that will dramatically improve efficiency and lower operating costs.  The
Kent-Moore ACR2000 meets government standards for the proper recovery and
reuse of R134a refrigerants and meets technician's needs for efficient use and
maintenance.  Circuit breakers have replaced fuses and an oil-less vacuum pump
offers technicians an 80% reduction in maintenance.  A data snapshot feature
has been integrated to provide printouts of key diagnostic factors.
