First, Second Third - Nissan Continues Winning Streak
      - Nissan Receives Honors from American Woman Motorscene Magazine -

DETROIT, Jan. 12 -- The 2000 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab,
Xterra and Maxima received First, Second and Third place awards respectively
from American Woman Motorscene magazine, adding to Nissan's impressive list of
awards already accumulated this year. The magazine honored the "Top 10 Most
Likely to Succeed" awards at the North American International Auto Show.
The Nissan Frontier Crew Cab received first place for "Most Athletic" in
the Pick-up Truck category, surpassing a number of very strong and competitive
products in this hotly contested market segment.
The Xterra was honored with second place for "Most Likely to Survive" in
the Sport Utility Vehicle Category, adding to its prestigious honor of winning
the North American Truck of the Year award announced earlier this week. The
Nissan Maxima received third place for "Most Likely to Succeed," the
publication's top honor.
"This has been a great week for us. With the debut of the all-new Sentra,
2001 Pathfinder and the North American Truck of the Year award, we're
continuing our award winning streak," said Jed Connelly, Nissan vice president
and general manager. "The American Woman Motorscene award validates the
reason why more than three times as many women purchase the Nissan Crew Cab
versus our own Frontier King Cab."
