Cauley Named Assistant General Counsel of Hayes Lemmerz
    NORTHVILLE, Mich., Jan. 12 -- Hayes Lemmerz International,
Inc. , one of the world's leading suppliers of wheels, brakes,
suspension, structural and other lightweight components to the automotive and
commercial highway markets, recently announced the appointment of Patrick C.
Cauley, to the position of assistant general counsel.
    Prior to this appointment, Cauley served as partner at the Detroit-based
law firm of Bodman, Longley & Dahling, where he engaged in all aspects of
corporate practice, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending and
financing, tax and real estate transactions.
    Cauley holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with
a major in accounting and a J.D., from the University of Michigan.  Cauley is
also a C.P.A.
