Richard G. Cutter, III, Joins CTS Corporation as General Counsel

    ELKHART, Ind.--Jan. 10, 2000--Richard G. (Dick) Cutter, III, has been named General Counsel of CTS Corporation according to an announcement today by Jeannine M. Davis, Executive Vice President Administration, Secretary and Interim Chief Financial Officer, and former General Counsel, CTS Corporation.
    As CTS Corporation's General Counsel, Mr. Cutter will be responsible for all of the Corporation's general legal matters.
    Mr. Cutter received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Ball State University and a J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1971, Florida Bar in 1972 and Indiana Bar in 1974. He additionally completed General Electric's Business Management Course in 1997.
    Most recently, and prior to accepting the position with CTS, Mr. Cutter held the position of General Counsel with General Electric--Silicones in Waterford, NY. He joined GE Plastics, Pittsfield, MA, in 1992, where he held positions as Senior Counsel--Labor, Government and Trade Relations and Associate General Counsel and Senior Counsel--Labor, Government and Trade Relations. Prior to joining General Electric, he held the position of Counsel with Pepper, Hamilton & Scheetz (1982-1983) and Harris Corporation (1983-1985); and General Counsel with Burnup & Sims, Inc. (1985-1990) and VHC, Ltd. (1990-1992). He began his business career with MILGO Electronics Corporation (1973) as Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary.
