Driving Call Centers to a New Level Cincom Encompass Gives Away Jeep Cherokee at CTI Expo
    CINCINNATI, Jan. 10 -- Cincom Encompass(TM) helped one lucky
attendee drive away a winner from the CTI Fall Expo in Las Vegas. Tom Purpura,
president of Convergence Communications in Burr Ridge, Ill., was the recipient
of a two-door, flame-red 2000 Jeep(R) Cherokee, which came completel drive and a 2.5L Power Tech I-4
engine. "I've never won anything before, so I've been walking on air ever
since," Purpura said.
    Purpura and about 4,000 other attendees were present in the Grand Lobby of
the Las Vegas Convention Center on December 9 when Michael Zehner, sales
representative for Cincom Encompass, drew the winning entry. The Jeep Cherokee
giveaway was part of a promotion by Cincom Encompass to unveil its new Web and
Unified Messaging technologies.  "These new technologies are going to drive
call centers to a whole new level and open up new avenues of communication
between organizations and customers," Zehner said. "Giving away a Jeep
Cherokee helped us illustrate that point perfectly."
    "People were really anxious to see who was going to win," Purpura said.
"It was so exciting, and just incredible good fortune that my name was
called." Winning the Jeep in Las Vegas couldn't have worked out better for
Purpura. His parents live there, so he was able to store the Jeep in their
garage until he could arrange for its shipment to Illinois. "Rumor has it my
parents were even seen driving around town in it," he quipped.
