Seagate Standardizes on SDRC Software; Purchase of Metaphase and I-DEAS Software With SDRC Development Solutions Worth $3.5 Million
CINCINNATI--Jan. 10, 2000--SDRC , a leading global supplier of enterprise product development solutions and developer of Metaphase(R) Enterprise(TM) and I-DEAS(R) software, today announced that Seagate Technology, Inc. is utilizing its software to maintain competitive excellence. As part of this program, Seagate is standardizing on SDRC's Metaphase Enterprise and I-DEAS software products and SDRC ExperTeam(SM) services. Seagate, the world's largest manufacturer of disc drives, magnetic discs and read-write heads, and an innovator in tape drives, is utilizing SDRC to greatly accelerate the deployment of Metaphase software within their internal PDM system, Seascape.
