Autocam Sets Date for Special Meeting of ShareholdersKENTWOOD, Mich., Jan. 10 -- Kentwood, Michigan-based Autocam Corporation announced today that a Special Meeting of Shareholders will be held on Friday, February 4, 2000 at 4 p.m. at Rembrandt's at Bridgewater, 333 Bridge St., N.W., Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Board of Directors of the Company has called this meeting in order to vote on the approval and adoption of the agreement and plan of merger among Titan Holdings, Inc., Titan Acquisition Corporation and the Company. On January 7, 2000, the Company began mailing the notice of this meeting and other relevant materials to shareholders of record as of December 13, 1999. Autocam manufactures precision-machined parts primarily used in fuel, power steering and braking systems for the transportation industry and ophthalmic and cardiovascular medical devices.
