I.D. Systems, Inc. to Provide Automated Fleet Management System For DaimlerChrysler
        Three Largest Auto Makers in U.S. Now All I.D. Systems Clients

    NEW YORK, Jan. 10 -- I.D. Systems, Inc.
announced today that its automated fleet tracking and management system has
been specified for installation at DaimlerChrysler's Warren Stamping plant in
Warren, MI. This initial order, covering 175 material handling vehicles, was
placed at the direction of DaimlerChrysler Corporation by Yale
Materials Handling-Michigan, Inc., one of the largest material handling
equipment distributors serving the automotive industry.
    DaimlerChrysler is the third major automotive manufacturer to specify I.D.
Systems' asset management technology for industrial vehicles.  During 1999,
the Ford Motor Company placed initial and follow-on orders to
implement the Company's systems at its Michigan Truck plant in Wayne, MI, and
Advanced Manufacturing Technology Division facility in Redford, MI.  In late
1999, General Motors awarded the Company a competitive bid contract
to implement a pilot system at its Doraville, GA, assembly plant.
