Daewoo Motor America Demonstrates Terrific Growth in 1999COMPTON, Calif., Jan. 6 -- Daewoo Motor America demonstrated terrific growth with sales of 2,136 units in December 1999, a 257% increase compared to the same period one year ago. In December, the newly styled Nubira lead all models with 805 units sold, followed by Leganza with 670 units, and Lanos with 661 units. Daewoo reported total calendar year 1999 sales of 30,787 units. Leganza lead with 12,913 units sold (41.9%), followed by Lanos with 9,321 units sold (30.3%) and Nubira with 8553 units sold (27.8%). Resale: Model Year 1999 vehicles average resale value was reported by Black Book Official Used Car Market Guide, and Kelley Blue Book as higher than more established lines of vehicles.
