SDRC Names New Metaphase Chief Technology Officer

    CINCINNATI--Jan. 5, 2000--SDRC , a leading global supplier of Internet-enabled collaborative product development solutions, today announced that James C. Ivey has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer, Metaphase Division, SDRC, effective immediately. Ivey will lead the technology vision and direction for both E-business and product development management solutions for Metaphase(R).
    "Over the last couple of years, Jim Ivey's impact on the Metaphase product line, and his visibility in the industry, have increased significantly," said Ed Miller, president, CIMdata. "His promotion to the role of Chief Technology Officer for Metaphase is a well deserved recognition of the role that he has already assumed within SDRC."
    Since joining the company in 1994, Ivey has worked with customers to design and implement enterprise architectures to support product development. Most recently, he has been responsible for evolving the Metaphase Enterprise architecture into an E-business solution platform.

    Ivey holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University. Prior to joining SDRC, he was involved in object-oriented software development for Universities Research Association.
