SANLUIS Rassini Receives QS 9000 Quality CertificationMEXICO CITY, Jan. 5 -- SANLUIS Rassini, a leading supplier of highly engineered autoparts to original equipment manufacturers, today announced that the Hendrickson Rassini Plant in Piedras Negras, Mexico had received QS 9000 third edition quality certification. The Hendrickson Rassini Plant is a joint venture between SANLUIS Rassini and Hendrickson International, a leading manufacturer of heavy truck and suspension systems. SANLUIS Rassini is a subsidiary of SANLUIS Corporacion, S.A. de C.V. (BMV: SANLUIS). With this latest award, all of SANLUIS Rassini's plants have now received QS 9000 certification. QS 9000 is the ISO-9000 norm adapted to the automotive industry by the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), and was developed by representatives from Ford, DaimlerChrysler and General Motors. It is a series of internationally recognized standards for quality management systems. Registration means that a company has met these standards after undergoing a rigorous audit conducted by a third party auditor. The certification was made by ABS Quality Evaluations. "To have the QS 9000 cerfication in all of our plants, proves not only that we have met very rigorous standards in our existing operations, but that we are committed to sustaining those standards.
