TecSyn -- Announcement Regarding Its Subsidiary Polytech Netting LP

    ST. CATHARINES, Ontario--Jan. 5, 2000-- (TSE:TSN.)

    TecSyn is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Polytech Netting LP has been sourced to supply an additional $4.0 million US of netting and attachment hardware product. This business is over 4 vehicle platforms and will be supplied to 4 automakers in a combination of direct supply to OEM and supply to Tier Ones. Increased revenue from this new business will phase in over the third and fourth quarter of fiscal 2000, and will be in total commercial production for fiscal 2001.
