KBO Conference Goes to Europe

    LEXINGTON, Mass.--Jan. 5, 2000--

The Knowledge-Based Organization (KBO) Conference,
the only worldwide forum that explores the capture and deployment
of corporate knowledge, goes to Europe for the first time
in Paris, France on 2nd and 3rd February, 2000.

The KBO Conference goes to Europe for the first time this year following two enormously successful conferences in the USA. The KBO 2000 Europe conference will be attended by senior executives of global aerospace, automotive and manufacturing companies and will comprise papers presented by ten eminent industry professionals and 'future-strategists'. They will be sharing, often for the first time in the public domain, real-world case studies on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Knowledge-Based Process Management implementations, technologies, and research.
KBO 2000 Europe is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the most successful way to capture and harness expert knowledge. Companies pioneering Knowledge-Based Organization strategies are already automating product development from concept to production and creating customer-driven products with enormously reduced time-to-market and cost.
Sponsored by Knowledge Technologies International (KTI), the Conference features a keynote entitled "Knowledge - A National Treasure" by Nicolette Divecha, Assistant Director of the Enterprise Unit for the UK Department of Trade and Industry. Papers follow from highly respected KBO specialists from companies such as BAE SYSTEMS/Airbus, Ford Motor Company, Airbus Industrie, Corus Automotive Engineering (formerly British Steel), Daimler Chrysler, Cap Gemini and the Cambridge Engineering Design Centre. Question and answer sessions provide the opportunity for in-depth discussion of the most relevant and powerful issues. John Fletcher, Vice President of Field Operations at KTI, will introduce the conference.
KBO 2000 Europe takes place at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel in La Defense, Paris, France, on 2nd and 3rd February 2000.
