Catherine C. Edwards Named Director of Human Resources for CTS Corporation's Resistor/Electrocomponents Business

    ELKHART, Ind.--Jan. 5, 2000--Catherine C. Edwards has been named Director of Human Resources for CTS Corporation's resistor/electrocomponents business, according to an announcement today by Tim Hartigan, Vice President and General Manager, CTS Resistor/Electrocomponents.
    Edwards brings over 20 years of human resource, manufacturing and organizational management experience to her new position with CTS. She will have responsibility for all human resource functions at CTS manufacturing facilities located in Berne, Indiana; Elkhart, Indiana; Burbank, California (IERC); Kaohsiung, Taiwan; and Guangdon Province, Peoples Republic of China.
    Edwards is a 1979 graduate of Elizabethtown College where she received a B.A. degree in Modern Languages and Business Administration. In 1985, she was awarded an M.S. degree from American University in Human Resource Development; and in 1995, received a Post Graduate Certificate from Columbia University in Advanced Organization Development and Human Resources Management.
    Edwards began her business career, in 1979, with R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company, Lancaster, Pennsylvania Division, as Human Resources Coordinator. She progressed with the company, at locations throughout the country, advancing in positions as Sales Training Coordinator, Human Resources Supervisor, Human Resource Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Organization Development Manager. In 1996, she joined Avery Dennison Corporation as Human Resources and Organization Development Manager, a position she held until joining CTS.
