ADP and IBM Global Services, To Team Up to Deliver e-Business Solutions to Automotive Retail Sector

    HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.--Jan. 5, 2000--ADP(R) Dealer Services and IBM have signed a letter of intent to collaborate on the delivery of e-business solutions for the automotive retail market. "This initiative will extend our existing relationship with IBM to address the needs of auto and truck retailers and manufacturers," said Mike Martone, President, ADP Dealer Services.
    "We welcome this opportunity to join with ADP to create and deploy unique e-business solutions for the automotive sector," said William Lang, IBM Global Services Automotive Industry Practice Executive. "Together, we can deliver solutions that bring automotive retailing to the forefront of the e-business tidal wave."
    ADP currently supplements its industry-leading UNIX-based Elite Dealer Management System with a variety of Windows(R) client server applications on IBM Netfinity(R) server and desktop client hardware platforms. ADP is also a key participant in IBM's Windows(R) 2000 EDPP beta program.
