Vice-President Public Affairs of Jaguar North America Appointed
    MAHWAH, N.J., Jan. 4 -- Jaguar Cars North America announces
the appointment of Simon Sproule to the position of vice president of Public
Affairs -- Jaguar North America.  Sproule will report to Jaguar North America
President Michael H. Dale.
    Sproule replaces Mark Miller who resigned December 31, 1999, and is
forming the Carlisle Group, a public relations and communications company with
offices in Toronto and New York City.
    Sproule joins Jaguar from Ford Motor Company's Public Affairs operation
where he has held various positions in Europe and North America.  Most
recently he was the Public Affairs media manager for the Truck Vehicle Center
in Dearborn, Mich.
    Born in Hampshire, UK, Sproule holds a bachelor's degree from London
University and joined Ford of Britain in 1994.
