Fidelity Holdings' Major Automotive Group Revolutionizes Its Automobile Internet Sales

    NEW YORK--Jan. 4, 2000--

Will Implement Talkie(R) Browse N Talk(TM) for its
Customer Sales and Service Websites

Major Automotive Group, the automobile division of Fidelity Holdings, Inc. , today announced its plans to implement Fidelity's subsidiary Info Systems Inc.'s Talkie(R) Browse N Talk(TM) into its websites, www.majorautomotive.com and www.majorworld.com, for sales enhancement and increased quality customer service. Major's Browse N Talk(TM) system will enable online automobile shoppers to place instant toll-free calls from any Major Auto website to a Major new or used car representative with a click of the mouse. For customers without a multimedia PC, Major's Browse N Talk(TM) will automatically call back the customer at a regular phone immediately, through the Browse N Call(TM) PSTN Callback option.
Bruce Bendell, Chairman of Fidelity Holdings, commented, "We have been pioneers in the utilization of electronic auto sales, first with Bloomberg and now on the Internet. With more than $1 million per month from online revenues, we are beginning to realize our vision to be on the cutting edge of the smooth integration of our automotive division with our technological advances. Non-franchised, online Internet auto sales providers such as Autobytel and Autoweb do not use Talkie(R) Browse N Talk(TM), unlike Major World's franchised dealer websites. Consumers and businesses will now be able to use the net for product information, pricing and rebates with up-to-the-minute updates from the Major World dealerships."
James Wallick, Executive Vice President of Fidelity and Chief Operating Officer of Major Automotive Group, said: "We are excited to have the opportunity to utilize this new technology which we believe may be a breakthrough in the way customer service in the internet auto industry is conducted. We strive to reach higher levels of customer satisfaction and continue our growth in new and used vehicle sales throughout the New York metropolitan area. In pursuing targets for acquisition, the possibility to increase revenues through Major's Browse N Talk(TM) technology can be an important factor for the dealership and add value to joining the Major World team."
Moise Benedid, President of Info Systems, stated: "Consumers who browse Major's web site to buy cars will be able, with the click of a mouse, to speak immediately to a sales representative through their computer. Unlike e-mail information request services, which can be slow, Major's customers can now talk to a live operator immediately to help satisfy all their automobile needs."
