Porsche Reports Year-End U.S. Sales; Year-To-Date Sales Up By 21 Percent

    ATLANTA, Jan. 3 -- Porsche Cars North America, importer and
distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced sales
and stock figures for calendar 1999 and the month of December 1999.  Retail
sales for the month of December totaled 2,004 cars, an increase of 56 percent
over December 1998.  Calendar year-to-date sales are 20,875, a 21 percent
increase over sales for the previous year.
