Baldor's Website Receives a 1999 WebAward
FORT SMITH, Ark., Dec. 30 -- The corporate website of Baldor
Electric Company received the prestigious Standard of Excellence
Award in the 1999 WebAwards just announced by the Web Marketing Association.
Corporate websites from around the world were judged based upon design,
innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, use of technology, and overall
ease of use.
"Winners of the 1999 WebAwards represent some of the best websites on the
Internet today," said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing
Association. The Standard of Excellence Awarecognizes those websites that
"represent the backbone of the World Wide Web today, setting the standard for
all corporate websites to follow." This is the third year for the WebAwards.
Baldor was one of only a few industrial companies to receive this award.
Baldor's website contains a wealth of company and product information.
