Toyota and Lexus Announce New Prices on Most 2000 Models
    TORRANCE, Calif., Dec. 28 -- Toyota Motor Sales (TMS),
U.S.A., Inc., announced slight price increases today for most of its 2000
model year Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
    On a comparably equipped basis, the overall price increase for Toyota cars
and trucks is 0.8 percent or $175.  Prices remain unchanged for the Toyota
ECHO, Camry Solara and Corolla.
    For Lexus cars and sport utility vehicles, the overall price increase on a
comparably equipped basis is 1.2 percent or $454.
    The price increases will be effective on Feb. 1, 2000.
